Areas of Expertise
As an industrial engineer, I had been teaching systems, such as accounting, clerical work, business, computers, and etc, at many mid-sized companies for 20 years.
Based on this experience, I am managing the current Yokohama oils & Fats Industry Co., Ltd, a chemical manufacturer.
What have been the main lessons you have learned in your career and how do you implement them in your management?
During six years working at a major manufacturer that supplies electronic parts to major Japanese manufacturers, such as Sony Corporation, Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd, Hitachi, Ltd, etc., I have learned the importance of quality control & delivery date management.
During 10 years working at a firm as a system consultant for accounting and administrative improvement, I learned the importance of the role played by SMEs and also of their management.
Those experiences across the industry have been valuable lessons that support me in my current role.
